About The Position
Join the Bethany Team as a Paraeducator for the 2026-2027 School Year. The Paraeducator assists and works under the direction of teachers and/or other professional educators in the delivery of instructional and related services to students.
Requirements
- Associate degree or two years of college credit OR a High School diploma or equivalent and a passing score of 457 on the Praxis ParaPro assessment.
- Must be certified in Physical Management Training (PMT) or be willing to be trained and certified.
- Aptitude, emotional maturity, and stability are necessary for working with various types of children and professional staff.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Strong organizational, recordkeeping, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Must possess good judgment in the supervision of, management of, and communication with students.
- Must be able to meet the physical demands of the job.
Nice To Haves
- Elementary school experience is preferred.
