About The Position

Under direct supervision, perform a wide variety of services associated with the instructional program in the classroom and other locations in the school. Paraeducators receive instruction from certificated staff. A major portion of the work involves supporting pupils in small groups or tutoring them one-to-one. Remaining time is spent preparing instructional materials and performing other assigned tasks. The position is at Roynon Elementary for 3 hours per day, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

Requirements

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• In addition to a high school diploma or equivalent, meet at least one of the following: complete two years of college (48 units) at an accredited institution of higher education; possess an associate's degree or higher; pass both sections of the CBEST; or pass a Bonita Unified School District-approved Paraprofessional Exam or possess a BUSD-approved Paraprofessional Certificate.

Responsibilities
