The Paraeducator role supports various specialized classroom settings within the district, including LEAP (Learners Excelling And Progressing) for collaboration and direct instruction, RISE (Reaching Independence through Structured Education) for functional skills with modified curriculum for mild/moderate disabilities, LIFE (Learning In a Functional Environment) for functional skills with modified curriculum for severe/profound disabilities, and ABLE (Academic and Behavioral Learning Environment) for students with emotional and behavioral concerns. The primary goal is to foster a well-functioning classroom environment where students can maximize their learning and utilize available resources.
