About The Position
This is a 0.9 FTE Paraeducator position at Albert Lea High School. The position is focused on supporting students with their academic, social, and emotional growth, aiming to develop engaged citizens and lifelong learners.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must pass local Academic Proficiency Exam or have taken at least 60 hours semester credits at post-secondary level
- Must possess good organizational skills
- Ability to work in a team approach
- Hired Based on Pre-employment physical
Nice To Haves
- Preferred experience working with children of differing abilities
- Preferred experience working with individuals with emotional, behavioral learning challenges, learning differences, and functional skills needs.
- CPR and First Aid training / certification preferred
