About The Position
New Britain High School is seeking a Paraeducator - KEY. This is a Non-Certified Paraeducator position. The anticipated start date is To Be Determined.
Requirements
- Provide documentation of 60 college credits or more (official, legible college transcripts showing at least 60 college credits).
- Provide documentation of a passing ParaPro Assessment score (official passing ParaPro Assessment test scores).
- For Preschool Paraeducator applicants: Provide documentation of 12 College Credits in Early Childhood OR a current, valid Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in special programs (Bridges, Catalyst, KEY, Pathways).
- Experience with toileting of students.
- Experience in early childhood education.
Responsibilities
- Provide support in special programs such as Bridges, Catalyst, KEY, and Pathways.
- Assist with non-program assignments requiring toileting of students.
- Support students in preschool settings if applicable.
- Assist with student needs as outlined in the attached job and program descriptions.
