About The Position

Ampersand Therapy is looking for a Special Education Paraeducator in the Tucson, AZ area. We’re seeking passionate and collaborative professionals who are excited to make a meaningful impact in the school-based setting. This is a temporary position starting ASAP and ending in December, requiring G-tube feeding and mobility assistance.

Requirements

• Requires either 60 college credits or a ParaPro certificate.
• Requires Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Must pass background check.
• Associates Degree or equivalent, or 2 years post secondary and at least 60 completed credits OR Paraprofessional Credential through Minnesota Department of Education (such as passing score on ParaPro or ParaEducator Assessments or credentialed on the PELSB rubric).

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience working in the school setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide support in a school-based setting as a Special Education Paraeducator.
• Assist with G-tube feeding.
• Provide mobility assistance.
