About The Position
Jericho Elementary School is seeking an energetic and caring General Assistant to work with students in Kindergarten through 4th grade. This position is responsible for supporting students, special educators and classroom teachers within the regular school setting. The position involves performing a variety of supportive activities with a diverse population of students.
Requirements
- Enjoy working with and engaging with young students.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to work independently.
- Reliability.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time to support students.
