About The Position
Under the general supervision of the site Administrator, the Para Educator SPED assists classroom teachers with preparing and delivering student academic interventions. The role works alongside teachers to supervise students and provide leveled intervention through one-on-one instruction, small-group instruction, and other methods intended to help students meet grade-level standards. The Para Educator scaffolds instruction to meet students at their current academic levels. The posting states that pay ranges from $19.75 per hour and up require college units.
