About The Position
Under the general supervision of the site Administrator, the Para Educator assists non-English-speaking students in all areas of the classroom. The position supports teachers in preparing and carrying out academic interventions, supervises students alongside teachers, and delivers leveled intervention through one-on-one and small-group instruction and other methods intended to help students meet grade-level standards. The Para Educator scaffolds instruction to meet students at their current academic levels and translates documents as needed for site communication. The listed hourly rate is $19.57 and above; college units are required.

Responsibilities
