About The Position

Under limited supervision, the Paper Room Attendant is responsible for keeping track of all serial numbers, collating returns, and providing accurate inventories of paper. Requirements

  • Must have excellent customer service and communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Must be a team player with a positive attitude.
  • Must be highly organized and able to handle multiple tasks at one time.
  • Must possess the ability to work with various personalities while maintaining impartiality.
  • Must respond to supervisory guidance and assignments and accept feedback in order to learn new, updated information.
  • The needs for quickness and ease of adjustment to the work environment and flexibility to change are essential in this position.
  • Must possess a good grasp of numbers, be professional in appearance and manner, and possess a pleasant and clear speaking voice.
  • Must be 18 years of age with a High School Diploma, GED preferred.
  • Mathematical and organizational skills required.
  • Must be able to move fast for long periods without tiring easily.
  • Will be required to carry up to 40 lbs. and be able to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time.
  • May also be required to climb a ladder, reach, bend, stretch, kneel, crawl, and lift on occasion.
  • Must be able to visually tell series and papers being used on the floor apart.
  • Must be able to effectively handle stressful and compromising situations while remaining focused and professional.
  • Must be able to deal with difficult people without losing perspective.
  • Must be able to work productively under strict time restraints with variable deadlines.
  • Position requires great attention to detail and work involves tedious tasks.
  • Must be able and willing to work in a crowded, smoking environment.
  • Must be able to handle being under constant surveillance.
  • May be required to work in small, enclosed spaces.
  • Must practice all safety policies, procedures and standards as set by OSHA.
  • Must be able to pass a background investigation and a drug and alcohol urinalysis as a condition of employment.
  • Must adhere to company policies regarding strict confidentiality.

  • General knowledge of bingo
  • Previous money handling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and count all paper used in session.
  • Staple, un-staple, and collate returns to ensure that no duplicates are used during a session.
  • Separate and ready all papers prior to each session.
  • Advise management of possible cheating or suspicious behavior.
  • Keep paper room organized at all times.
  • Responsible for monthly inventory duties, record keeping and stocking all inventory.
  • Willingness to cross-train and provide support in related areas of operations.
  • Other duties as assigned by manager/supervisor.
