The PAP Technician will be responsible for processing PAP paperwork daily, educating patients on the proper use and care of PAP equipment, performing preventive maintenance on PAP equipment, and assisting in resolving patient equipment problems. This role also involves processing CPAP/BiPAP equipment returns, educating patients on PAP supplies, documenting information for reimbursement, maintaining PAP inventory, collecting co-insurance payments, and scheduling patient appointments. Additionally, the PAP Technician will assist walk-in patients with troubleshooting, assume on-call responsibilities, deliver and train patients on equipment usage, and report equipment hazards. The position requires managing phone systems, assisting patients with orders, and contributing to the intake process. The role also involves generating and reviewing inventory reports.
