About The Position

Ocean Downs Casino is hiring a full-time, year-round Pantry Worker in Berlin, Maryland. The position pays $16.20 per hour and is described as a developmental opportunity on an overnight team. The Pantry Worker prepares cold food items, including salads, cold sandwiches, and desserts, and ensures product quality, presentation, and compliance with applicable sanitary codes. The role also supports an entertaining guest environment and positive relationships with guests and team members.

Requirements

Ability to read, write, speak, understand, or communicate in English sufficiently to perform the necessary job functions.
Ability to comprehend, retain, and execute written, verbal, and demonstrated directions, explanations, and guidance.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and communicate effectively with guests, coworkers, and management.
Ability to repeatedly lift 40 pounds without difficulty.
Ability to sit, walk, or stand for extended periods without difficulty.
Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Must obtain and maintain a license issued by the Maryland State Lottery Agency, as required of gaming establishment employees.

Nice To Haves

Two years of pantry cook or similar experience preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
