About The Position
Restaurant Associates, a leader in dining and event catering, is seeking a part-time Pantry Coordinator. This role is responsible for food and beverage distribution from the pantry, managing pantry product inventory and offerings, and other related duties. The position is with Compass Group, known for its industry leadership in foodservice.
Requirements
- Previous catering and pantry operations experience is required.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time.
- Abides by all Company policies and procedures including but not limited to: The use of a medium weight cut gloves when handling or using knives, peelers, choppers, mandolins or cleaning a slicer.
- The use of oven mitts, fryer gloves or steamer gloves when handling hot pans from ovens, warmers or steamtables.
- The use of slip-resistant shoes and proper lifting techniques.
Responsibilities
- Ensures all food or beverage is distributed from pantry in a timely fashion.
- Maintains and performs product inventory.
- Understands menu offerings.
- Creates, modifies, or closes individual sale checks via electronic tablet.
- Adheres to all safety and sanitation policies.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
