About The Position
Job Overview: The Quarry Beach Club, a private waterfront community located in beautiful Naples, Florida, is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Part-Time Seasonal Pantry Cook to join our culinary team. This is a great opportunity for a skilled cook to work in a professional, team-focused kitchen during the peak season in Southwest Florida. As a Pantry Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and plating cold dishes, salads, dressings, and desserts with precision and consistency. The ideal candidate is organized, efficient, and takes pride in delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- GED or High School Diploma
- At least 1 year pantry or line cook experience in a professional kitchen preferred.
- Excellent knife skills and understanding of food safety practices.
- Ability to stay organized and focused during busy service periods.
- Excellent verbal communication skills required
- Knowledgeable of proper food handling procedures
- Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required.
- Ability to lift 30 - 50 lbs.
- Strong team player with a positive attitude.
- Work in an upright standing or sitting position for long periods of time.
- Reach with hands and arms.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and plate cold menu items including salads, appetizers, and desserts.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pantry station.
- Follow recipes and presentation standards with attention to detail.
- Assist with prep and support other stations as needed.
- Other duties as required.
