About The Position

Under the supervision of our Executive Chef, the Pantry Cook/Garde Manger position is an entry level role to the kitchen, responsible for the prep and plating for hot and cold appetizers, salads, and raw bar including opening oysters and other shellfish for our outlets, including Le Depot French Brasserie and Union Patisserie. During service, this team member will work with the pastry team plating desserts.

Requirements

  • Must speak and read English.
  • Must have the legal ability to work in the United States.
  • Must provide your own kitchen tools/ knives.
  • Must have Department of Health Certification.
  • Ability to stand for long hours and lift 50lbs.
  • Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant restaurant experience.
  • Experience and knowledge of French cuisine is a plus.
  • Degree in Culinary Arts is preferred.
