Let’s make a difference together. Safe Life Defense is seeking a detail-oriented Panel Manufacturer to assist in the production of high-quality ballistic panels for our protective gear. This role involves cutting, assembling, and inspecting materials to ensure they meet safety and durability standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to precision and quality.

Requirements

  • Ability to read and follow technical instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Basic mechanical skills and the ability to operate cutting tools and machinery safely.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift materials as needed.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and quality assurance standards.
  • Must have the appropriate respect for Law Enforcement, EMS, Fire, Security and Military service members.
  • Cannot hire felons.
  • A friendly attitude and a love for your job is a must.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in manufacturing, textiles, or a related field is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Cut, assemble, and shape ballistic panel materials according to production specifications.
  • Operate machinery and tools safely to ensure efficient production.
  • Inspect panels for defects, ensuring all products meet company and industry standards.
  • Follow detailed work instructions and safety protocols throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to workplace safety regulations.
  • Assist with quality control testing and report any defects or issues to supervisors.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
  • Keep accurate records of materials used and completed panels for inventory purposes.
