About The Position

This position is responsible for the fabrication of Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs) using various hand tools. The role requires maintaining a clean and safe work environment, adhering to quality standards, and problem-solving in challenging situations. The Panel Finisher will also operate a Hi-lo and overhead cranes, and perform other assigned duties. Basic computer and math skills are necessary, along with the ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Effective communication and problem-solving skills are essential, as is the ability to stand, reach outward and above, bend frequently, and walk. Reliable attendance and adherence to company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards are critical. The role also focuses on timely completion of work, limiting lost time, and reducing lead time for customer orders.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic construction skills
• Able to read blue prints
• Able to read measurement tools
• Wood working/carpentry experience
• Basic computer skills
• Demonstrated proficiency using EPICOR ERP or similar systems
• Basic math skills
• Able to lift 75 lbs.
• Skilled in using power and hand tools
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills
• Able to stand, reach outward and above, bending frequently and walking
• Reliable attendance
• Effective communication with fellow team members
• Ability to adhere to and maintain quality standards
