About The Position

Performs updates to existing panel design drawings from markups and comments from designers, project team or customer while maintaining company and customer standards. Assists with most aspects of panel design projects by working with Designers and the project team. Reads and interprets customer diagrams and documentation and communicates with project team to understand objectives and preferences. Confers with engineering staff, manufacturing staff and other personnel to resolve problems. Performs panel power and heat calculations. Performs updates to panel layout and detail drawings based on markups in accordance with company and customer standards. Performs updates to PLC module and electrical drawings based on markups in accordance with company and customer standards. Performs self and peer review checks of panel drawings.

Requirements

High School Diploma and AutoCAD training and/or experience.
Read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Effectively present information and respond to questions from customers, vendors, project managers, and co-workers.
Work with mathematical concepts such as basic math, algebra and geometry.
Apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
An understanding of AutoCAD, MS Office (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint), Documentation Software: Adobe Pro
