About The Position

Fabricate, assemble, wire, and test industrial control panels using engineering drawings, schematics, layouts, and bills of material. The role includes mounting components such as DIN rail, wire duct, terminal blocks, breakers, fuse holders, power supplies, relays, PLC hardware, HMIs, communication devices, transformers, disconnects, and other control components. You will also wire panels according to schematics and wiring diagrams, route and bundle wiring neatly, terminate wires properly, maintain wire color/gauge/labeling standards, and support basic testing and troubleshooting such as continuity checks, voltage checks, control power verification, and panel power-up support.

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on control panel wiring experience
  • Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and bills of material
  • Experience wiring clean, organized panels with minimal hand-holding
  • Understanding of proper wiring, labeling, termination, grounding, bonding, wire sizing, and overcurrent protection
  • Ability to use panel shop tools such as hand tools, power tools, meters, crimpers, wire strippers, and label makers
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in clean, consistent work
  • Ability to catch mistakes, communicate issues, and keep an organized work area
  • Coachability and willingness to follow standards under the lead technician
  • Team-first attitude and strong culture fit
  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) Required
  • Demonstrable electrical aptitude
  • Proven ability to drill and tap
  • Good verbal communication skills
  • Ability to read prints, diagrams, general assembly, and line drawings
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with electrical codes and standards
  • Experience wiring servo motors, encoders, 3-phase DC motors, VFDs, relays, Ethernet devices, communication equipment, panel testing, troubleshooting, field startup, or commissioning would be a plus.
