About The Position

A Panel Build Technician is responsible for all phases of a panel build, including reading electrical schematics, wiring, creating tags, and final assembly. The role may also involve field troubleshooting of existing panels and installation support for Toyota Controls projects. Toyota Automated Logistics is a global partner for integrated warehouse automation, combining the talents of Toyota Automated Logistics, Vanderlande’s warehousing business, and viastore to deliver scalable systems, intelligent software, and life-cycle services.

Requirements

  • Experience in the electrical industry as either an Electrician or Panel Builder
  • Relevant electrical wiring, panel build and troubleshooting experience
  • Must be eligible to work in the USA long term without sponsorship

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all phases of a panel build
  • Reading electrical schematics
  • Wiring the panel
  • Creating tags for the panel
  • Final assembly of the panel
  • Help customers by going into the field for troubleshooting existing panels
  • Provide installation support in the field for Toyota Controls projects
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Neat in workmanship, specifically in regards to best practices in industrial wiring
  • Multi-task and handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Provide feedback on prints and "redline" as appropriate
  • Execute schedules, keep on track with milestones
  • Maintain a consistently positive, enthusiastic attitude
  • Submit Annual Review inputs and personal goals
  • Anticipate problems and be able to proactively act rather than react
  • Maintain a work area that is clean and organized
  • Complete all administrative tasks/paperwork in a timely manner
  • Follow all information security policies, protect confidential data, complete required training, and report any suspected security incidents to support our information security controls
