About The Position

The Registered Nurse implements the nursing process for each patient assigned to their care, regardless of age (infancy to geriatric). They are responsible for patient care consistent with Kentucky Nursing Laws and organizational policies and procedures. The RN promotes positive patient outcomes and quality care delivery. They initiate change through active involvement in unit-based and hospital shared governance councils, contributing to a healthy professional practice environment. National Professional Nursing Standards guide nurses in utilizing critical thinking, clinical reasoning, and appropriate nursing judgment. The RN collaborates with the inter-professional team to enhance patient outcomes and serves as a role model through active participation in continuous professional development and lifelong learning. The Nursing Process serves as the framework for providing care.

Requirements

  • Active Kentucky License
  • BLS within 90 days
