About The Position

Mars Wrigley is seeking Team Member- Palletizer Operators for their Elizabethtown, PA facility, which manufactures DOVE chocolate. This role is responsible for the efficient production of quality products in the required quantities by using forklifts to transport products for shipping. There are two positions available, one for the 2nd shift (2:30 PM – 11:00 PM) and one for the 3rd shift (10:30 PM – 7:00 AM). The current schedule is Monday to Friday, with a future transition to a 12-hour day or night shift schedule in 2027.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent education
• 1+ years’ experience within a manufacturing environment
• Previous experience operating forklifts
• Proficient in computer software’s including MS Office and e-mail
• Frequent lifting/carrying (10-50 lbs) and pushing/pulling (50-300 lbs)
• Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, handling, and gripping.
• Ability to work at elevated heights, climb stairs, lean over equipment, and operate in confined spaces.
• Ability to stand and work on feet for extended periods, with shifts lasting 12 hours
• Capable of working in hot, cold and wet conditions
• Proficient in understanding, communicating, reading, and writing in English.

Nice To Haves

• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting operating a variety of machines
• Forklift certified
• OSHA certification
• Knowledge of inventory control principles
• Experience with SAP or other warehouse management system

Responsibilities

• Performs activities and job tasks for multiple lines and areas
• Operates equipment in a safe and efficient manner
• Takes corrective actions in solving problems to root cause level
• Able to assess equipment operating reliability and perform routine repairs, adjustments, and malfunction troubleshooting
• Performs and/or works with Maintenance to complete equipment preventative maintenance (PM)
• Performs quality control (QC) tasks
• Maintain accurate records of quality check and keeps detailed logbooks
• Any ad hoc tasks
