About The Position

Mid-sized manufacturing company is seeking to fill a Palletizer position at the J-Lok plant in the Earlington, KY area. Overtime required as necessary. Manufacturing Experience Preferred. This is an entry-level hourly position where the employee performs physical tasks to facilitate storage and shipment of resin cartridges for use with roof support system products for the mining and tunneling industries. The employee may also perform other training-level tasks under the direction of a mentor employee or supervisor that may progress to include operator and/or maintenance technician actions to facilitate production of resin cartridges. The employee may perform janitorial or other general labor actions as required by supervisory/plant management personnel to maintain efficient operation of plant facility.

Requirements

Dependability to be consistently at work and on time with ability to work rotating shifts
Fundamental listening, verbal, and written communications skills to accurately follow directives
Functional mathematical ability including knowledge of fractions and decimals
Ability to follow safety procedures and guidelines when handling raw chemical materials, finished product, or machinery and/or equipment
A “Team” mentality with a quality assurance/safety oriented mindset
Repetitive standing and/or bending capability during normal phase duties
Near/far vision, and multiple-limb coordination
Possess manual dexterity and moderate/heavy (up to 60 lbs) lifting capability while performing essential job duties
