About The Position
As a core member of our frozen warehouse and distribution team, you will be expected to work in a -20 degree environment to move product from a conveyor and stack onto a pallet. You will prepare pallets filled with delicious ice cream for the warehouse before it is sent to our customers. You will also work as a team to support the production of safe, high quality products and team member safety. Requirements
- Minimum education of a High School diploma, GED or HSE
- Experience working with PIV.
- Schedule flexibility to work various shifts as needed, especially for training
- Ability to abide by GMP and SQF requirements.
- Ability to legibly complete paperwork.
- Ability to work in a team environment to accomplish set goals
- Work with a safety mindset and in an efficient manner.
Responsibilities
- Work in a -20 degree environment to move product from a conveyor and stack onto a pallet
- Prepare pallets filled with delicious ice cream for the warehouse before it is sent to our customers
- Work as a team to support the production of safe, high quality products and team member safety
- Ability to work in an extreme cold climate, reaching temperatures below -20° F
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., throughout entire shift, multiple days a week
- Work in a -20 degree environment to move product from a conveyor and stack onto a pallet starting at ground level to over the shoulder height
- Stack pallets filled with delicious ice cream for the warehouse before it is sent to our customers
- Ability to use proper lifting/bending techniques from ground level to overhead at times
- Capable of pushing/pulling 2000 lbs., for an extended amount of time using pallet jacks manual or electric
- Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods throughout assigned shift while maintaining footing on slippery floors
- All other tasks as outlined by supervisor
