About The Position

Lactalis US Yogurt, part of the Lactalis family of companies, is currently hiring a Palletizer / Packager based in Casa Grande, Arizona. This role involves assisting with the packaging of yogurt containers, manually stacking cases onto pallets, and maintaining quality, safety, and cleanliness standards. The position requires collaboration with team members, setting up for oncoming shifts, and monitoring equipment operations. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs and safety protocols.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Flexibility to work in a fast-paced production environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Works on assigned line to assist with packaging of yogurt containers by way of machine and / or hand packing.
• Manually stack yogurt cases onto pallets according to specified patterns and weight limits to ensure stability during transport.
• Upholds quality, safety, and cleanliness standards within designated areas.
• Communicate with other team members to ensure efficient plant operators.
• Set-up oncoming shift for successful run.
• Perform any duties necessary to support the team.
• Obtain information necessary to perform duties at pre-shift and post-shift meetings with off-going associates.
• Vigilantly monitor equipment operations for indications of impending problems and possible operational improvements.
• Operate the corrugator and palletizer machines.
