About The Position
The Palletizer Operator is a front-line member of Land O’Lakes, Inc.’s manufacturing team in its Purina Animal Nutrition business. The role performs production processes that add value and quality to inputs and help create finished products for customers. Work includes operating machinery and equipment and packaging final products. The position contributes to a member-owned cooperative serving producers and animal owners throughout the United States.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- At least 1 year of work experience in any industry.
- Basic computer and math skills.
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and follow verbal and written instructions in English.
- Willingness to learn new skills, solve problems, and troubleshoot.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, and a respectful manner.
Nice To Haves
- At least 1 year of manufacturing work experience.
- Machine operation and/or forklift experience.
Responsibilities
- Follow all safety processes and insist on safe practices from self and others.
- Arrive on time, complete tasks by deadlines, and adapt quickly to changes.
- Multitask and keep pace with production demands in a fast-paced environment.
- Ensure quality standards and standard operating procedures are followed during production.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
- Collaborate with Leads and Management and follow their instructions to complete daily work assignments.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
