Requirements

  • Have knowledge of Sanitation Procedures.
  • Know and understand Good Manufacturing Practices and Safety Guidelines.
  • Ability to use simple writing, adding and subtracting.
  • Some mechanical ability needed.
  • Able to lift at least 20-40 lbs.
  • Applicants must maintain good attendance and safety records.
  • Must be currently authorized to work legally in the United States for Sabert.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous manufacturing experience, preferred.
  • Have knowledge of all boxes and pallets for each product.
  • Knowledge of pallet configurations and counts.
  • Knowledge of all Sell By's and code Dates for all products.
  • Knowledge of Tape Machines, their functions and Lot Numbers.

Responsibilities

  • Continuous flow of product to the stacker providing all products positioned properly for stacking, including product orientation and quantity.
  • Remove wrapped product from the conveyors in a timely manner to avoid palletizer shutdown.
  • Complete and submit/attach paperwork, such as maintenance request forms, skid tally sheets, on-hold tags, and skid load flags.
  • Unload and feed supplies (tie sheets, stretch wrap, pallets) to the palletizers as required.
  • Ensure the use of the correct boxes for each product and label and stack full boxes onto the pallet.
  • Ensure boxes are taped properly and have correct labels and Code Dates.
  • Know and follow the Metal Detector Policy and proper handling of rejected product.
  • Inform the team leader of any equipment problems.
  • Supply boxes to packers.
  • Ensure dates on labels and boxes match and change labels for the label printer.
  • Perform other jobs as assigned.
