About The Position

The Pallet Validator/Shipping Dock Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that every order is shipped out with correct quantities and correct product being loaded onto the correct carrier’s truck, including all corresponding paperwork required for both international and domestic shipments. This position will be heavily involved with coordinating and communicating with Crescent Warehouse Logistics. The role requires a high level of attention to detail and accuracy, as all liabilities and errors after training will be placed on the Pallet Validator/Shipping Dock Coordinator. Accountability, attendance, accuracy, dependability, along with positive and clear communication skills are paramount. The Pallet Validator/Shipping Dock Coordinator is the last line of defense to safeguard shipments and prevent financial penalties. The number one priority is that every order leaves correctly and completely.

Responsibilities

Ensure every order is shipped out with correct quantities and correct product being loaded onto the correct carrier’s truck, including all corresponding paperwork required for both international and domestic shipments.
Coordinate and communicate with Crescent Warehouse Logistics.
Compile shipment paperwork packet which includes: Packing Slip, Bill of Lading, and other Customer specific documentation.
Audit and rebuild pallets when necessary.
Print pallet labels, flag outbound shipments, and designate load with carrier assigned.
Visually verify what is on each pallet and show pallet labels to camera system clearly.
Fill out the Load Verification Sheet and turn paperwork into Logistics Coordinator after shipment has been tendered to carrier.
Assist in other areas of the warehouse when needed by management, including assisting Specialty Pack, E-Comm, Logistics Manager/Coordinator or other duties as seen fit by Warehouse Management.
Stage and load outbound shipments.
Update iPad Shipping area map with correct locations of each pallet.
Serve as the point person on recycling duties of paper and cardboard waste.
