About The Position

Responsible for the multiple operations of the Palletizers and/or Robot for the purpose of stacking product. Operators maintain the equipment, machines and electrical components. Product not processed through automatic palletizing will be manually removed and stacked from the conveyors. Pallets will then be shrunk wrapped before being moved to the finished goods area.

Requirements

• Excellent teamwork skills
• Ability to read labels and numbers
• Ability to operate in high speed and fast-paced environment
• Ability to add, subtract, and multiply
• Able to follow instructions as directed by Supervisor
• Ability to stand for a long time
• Must be able to bend, stoop, pull and lift up to 50 lbs., and to stand for long periods of time

Nice To Haves

• Certification in operating Pallet Jack is an advantage

Responsibilities

• Keep work area clean
• Keep count of finished product
• Move pallets of stacked product to storage area using pallet jack and forklift
• Observe and practice all rules of safety
• Ensure that all food regulations, quality and safety requirements are followed
• Report any misuse of equipment, product or work rule violations that could result in damage to equipment, product or employee safety to your supervisor/manager
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervision
