About The Position

The Palisades Kids Sales Associate provides friendly, efficient, customer-focused service while supporting the daily operations of the children’s ski and snowboard school. The role helps create a smooth, welcoming guest experience from booking through arrival by explaining and selling lessons, packages, and other products; managing phone and in-person reservations; processing presale lesson tickets; and providing information about Palisades Tahoe facilities and services. Applicants must be 18 years of age.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Friendly attitude and strong work ethic in a team environment.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and guest service skills.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to work in adverse weather conditions.
• Must enjoy working with children.
• Must be capable of walking or standing for 30% or more of a normal eight-hour shift.
• Must be capable of occasionally carrying, lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 35 pounds.
• Must be capable of occasionally squatting, bending, kneeling, reaching, and balancing, and able to climb ladders and shovel snow.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience with children ages 3–13.
• Customer service experience in a resort setting.
• Experience with point-of-sale software such as RTP or Inntopia.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, friendly, and efficient service that supports customer satisfaction.
• Explain and sell group and private lessons, daily packages, and other products.
• Take reservations by phone and in person.
• Fulfill lesson tickets for presales.
• Answer incoming phone calls to Palisades Kids.
• Accurately balance daily sales.
• Provide guests with information about Palisades facilities and services.
• Restock and clean the sales area before leaving for the day.
• Assist with lunch setup and, when asked, help prepare and serve children’s lunch.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
