About The Position
Sunbelt Home Solutions, a leading exterior remodeling company based in St. Petersburg, FL, is expanding its subcontractor network and seeking experienced paint crews for consistent, year-round work. The company is actively installing projects in the territory between The Villages and Tampa, and is looking for crews who can reliably service this area. This opportunity is ideal for businesses that deliver high-quality work and desire steady employment. This is a 1099 subcontractor position with earning potential of $200,000–$300,000+ for top-performing crews. Projects are steady and available year-round across Sarasota to Pasco county. Sunbelt Home Solutions provides a reliable and organized operations team to support the workflow.
Requirements
- English proficiency is required.
- Ability to travel regularly and complete jobs consistently in The Villages to Tampa.
- Willing to pick up Product in St. Pete once a week.
- Must own and operate your own LLC or registered business entity.
- Must carry all required insurance before being scheduled for any jobs: Workers’ Compensation coverage (exemptions are NOT accepted), Auto Insurance, General Liability Insurance.
- Attend a mandatory certification class in St. Pete, FL (Sunbelt-sponsored).
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work safely outdoors and on ladders/scaffolding.
- Reliable transportation and professional demeanor.
Nice To Haves
- Lead certification is a plus but not required.
Responsibilities
- Prep surfaces: pressure wash, patch, sand, mask, and prime
- Apply Texcote® Coolwall® using proper spray/brush/roll techniques
- Ensure consistent finish, texture, and color
- Maintain safe, clean job sites
- Complete quality checks and final walkthroughs
