About The Position
Performs day to day activities as instructed by the Coatings Manager, to support warehouse and paint production operations.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience in industrial painting
Responsibilities
- Clean and prepare parts for paint following established procedures.
- Blast parts as required per coatings specification.
- Mask parts as required per customer drawings or instructions.
- Load parts or equipment for paint on racks or tables.
- Stage paint jobs in designated areas by use of forklift or push racks.
- Stencil parts as required.
- Touch up, unmask and place completed parts on shipping pallets.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment daily or as instructed.
- Upkeep of paint booths including storage cabinets and mixing room.
- Confer with supervisor regarding quality or procedure problems.
- Clocks in on all applicable work orders.
- Monitor and submit request for shop tools and supplies.
- Move products or equipment by use of forklift.
- Upkeep and cleanliness of work areas.
- Follow company safety & security guidelines.
- Attendance and punctuality are essential functions of this job.
- Other duties as needed.
