About The Position

This role performs industrial/commercial type painting to structures, furnishings, wall surfaces, equipment, and roads by using paintbrushes, rollers, or sprayer. May hang and finish drywall and wallpaper. Prepares surfaces before beginning any project. Moves/protects furnishings and floor coverings prior to painting areas and posts wet signs where needed. Mixes and matches paint, stain, and other finishes to job specifications. Must follow all safeguards, rules, and regulations as mandated. Cleans and maintains painting tools and materials after completion of each assignment. Drives utility vehicles and is responsible for vehicle's daily inspections, maintenance, safe operations, and safeguarding against vandalism or theft. Performs related responsibilities as required.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Three years of commercial painting experience
  • Valid Georgia driver's license and insurable driving record
  • Must satisfactorily pass a Medical Respiratory Clearance Test and a Respirator Fit Test prior to beginning work and on an annual basis.
