About The Position

Crusoe is seeking a Powder Coat Painter to apply industrial paint finishes like powder coat to metals or manufactured products. This role is essential for achieving the desired aesthetic and protective qualities of our products. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of general work experience, with formal training in production painting being a plus. This is a full-time position.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1+ years of general work experience with powder coating
  • Requires lifting, lowering, pushing, and pulling all sizes of merchandise up to 50 lbs.
  • Requires the ability to stand, walk, stoop, & bend for 8 hours or more daily.
  • Requires constant use of arms, hands, fingers, eyes, legs, and back.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Must be a team player willing to take on additional roles as needed.
  • Have a good attitude and willingness to learn.
  • A proactive self-starter who consistently delivers assigned duties, knows when to seek assistance, and thrives in a team-oriented environment, readily supporting other teams and departments to achieve shared goals.
  • This position is designated a safety-sensitive position and/or is located in a safety-sensitive facility. Drug and alcohol program participation is required.
  • As a condition to employment, applicants who receive a job offer are required to submit to a medical evaluation to confirm their ability to wear a respirator.

Responsibilities

  • Operating a spray painter or other equipment to apply industrial paint finishes on metals or manufactured products. May paint by hand when needed.
  • Mixing paints and other solutions.
  • Completing finishing with baking, polishing, or other materials.
  • Monitoring drying to ensure desired results.
