About The Position

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Painter or Carpenter to join their team at The Hotel Roanoke & Conference Center. This role involves performing a variety of maintenance trade functions, including wall repair (Stucco, textured), painting, and furniture repair and painting. The ideal candidate will work closely with team members, be quick on their feet, and possess an engaging attitude. Requirements

• Experience working as a painter or carpenter
• Knowledge of "household" repairs (carpentry, electrical, plumbing, etc.)
• Engaging and welcoming personality
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Passion for creating an exceptional experience for all guests
• Excellent communication skills
• Available to work various shifts to include weekends and holidays
• Ability to walk, stand, reach, crouch, bend, push/pull throughout duration of shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Performs general maintenance of building, facility and soft goods.
• Performs finishes repairs and touch ups to various surfaces throughout the hotel and meeting space.
• Performs preventative maintenance and maintains logs in an organized manner.
• Make repairs to woodwork, wall vinyl, doors and window, carpeting, etc.
• Participates in the hotel/resorts preventive maintenance program.
• Keeps records as required by company policy and procedures. Maintains logs on completed tasks. Prepares reports as requested by supervisors. Submits all requested reports/logs in a timely manner.
