Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Comfortable with using computer (email, data entry, and touch screens for equipment)
  • Introductory Level: Primary focus is learning the process
  • Successful completion of introductory period (6 months)

Responsibilities

  • Loading and unloading parts on the paint conveyance system
  • Inspection of parts
  • Burn off oven and sanding table operation
  • Movement of material in and out of the area
  • Properly maintain system settings and equipment for areas assigned
  • Able to properly inspect, load and unload the paint system
  • Able to properly prepare parts for the paint system (sanding, plugging, eye bolts, etc)
  • Able to load, unload and operate the burn-off oven
  • Understand and follow the work instructions and quality standards for the department
  • Have a basic understanding of documentation (examples include ISO, Windchill, Kanban, and TKSs)
  • Is committed to a continuous self-development plan
  • Supports team and cross functional activities
  • Competent use of the 9 Step Problem Solving Process
  • Pursues process improvements
  • Certifies others to standard work
  • Sets-up processes without assistance
