Painter
About The Position
The Painter position is in the ENGINEERING department. The primary responsibilities include painting and hanging wallpaper. Secondary responsibilities involve working in the spray shop refinishing furniture. The normal working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, but this can vary. The ideal candidate will possess journeyman skill level, equivalent to a 4-year apprentice program with classroom time and 8000 worked hours, or equivalent experience and technical skills. A High School Diploma or G.E.D. is preferred. The role requires the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers and a valid West Virginia Driver's License. Special skills are a plus.
Requirements
- Journeyman skill level to consist of accepted 4 year apprentice program with classroom time and 8000 worked hours or experience and technical skills equal to the apprenticeship from working in the trade for a number of years.
