About The Position

This position is for a full-time, first-shift Painter at Sanborn Manufacturing, a subsidiary of MAT Industries. The role involves painting various parts of air compressors to ensure a quality product for the customer. The job requires a high attention to detail, the ability to achieve quality paint finishes at a reasonable pace, and the capacity for repetitive lifting of materials and product up to 50 lbs. The painter will also be responsible for sending, hanging, and prepping parts for painting. Safety consciousness, quality mindset, good work habits, and attendance are essential. The role requires working with a sense of urgency, as part of a team, and flexibility to work where needed within the department. Experience with paint tools and processes is necessary, and the role involves operating air tools, hoists, and hand tools.

Requirements

High school graduate/GED
High attention to detail
Must be safety conscious, quality minded, have good work habits and attendance.
Knowledge of paint tools and process

Responsibilities

Paint various parts of the air compressor to produce a quality product to the customer.
Achieve quality paint finishes on parts at a reasonable pace.
Perform repetitive lifting of materials and product throughout the process up to 50 lbs.
Send, hang, and prep parts for painting at a reasonable steady pace.
Operate air tools, hoists, and hand tools.
Work with a sense of urgency and as part of a team.
