About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint and coatings, and performing minor repairs to maintain the appearance of our stores. This role requires attention to detail, knowledge of painting techniques, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The Painter will also assist with general facility maintenance as needed and ensure work is completed efficiently and safely.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
Knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and surface preparation
Ability to use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and lifts safely
Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship

Nice To Haves

1–3 years of painting or related experience preferred
Commercial experience a plus

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, patching, and priming as needed
Apply paint, stain, and coatings to walls, ceilings, floors, and exterior surfaces
Repair minor wall damage including drywall patching, cracks, and holes
Maintain and refresh store appearance, including high-traffic areas and customer-facing spaces
Ensure proper color matching and consistent finishes across locations
Safely operate and maintain painting tools and equipment
Follow safety procedures, including proper handling of chemicals and use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Maintain clean and organized work areas during and after projects
Coordinate with management to schedule work during low-traffic hours to minimize disruption
Keep records of work completed, materials used, and supply needs
Assist with general facility maintenance tasks as needed
