About The Position

This role involves various painting tasks, including material estimation, surface preparation, patching, and application of paints, stains, and resins. The painter will be responsible for ensuring surfaces are properly prepared and finished according to specific requirements, utilizing appropriate tools and techniques. This includes working with different textures like stucco and using equipment such as air sprayers. The position also entails touch-up painting for buildings and health center rooms, as well as fulfilling painting contracts with independent residential units.

Requirements

• One year experience as a painter, or one to three years as a painter's helper preferred.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• One to three months related experience and/or training.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop list of materials required based on different paints, stains and resins.
• Prepare surfaces based on paints/stains utilizing proper tools and primer agents.
• Patch walls based on surfaces and textures; includes stucco finishes.
• Utilizes proper tools including air sprayer and texture tools.
• Paint touch-up of the buildings and the Health Center rooms as required.
• Painting activities as contracted with independent residential units.
