About The Position

The position involves working in a powder booth, changing colors, and manually spraying products using a spray gun. This is a full-time, hourly position within the Paint Department, reporting to the Paint Line Supervisor.

Requirements

• Knowledge of basic hand and power tools.
• Must utilize proper PPE at all times while in the production area.
• Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Effective interpersonal, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills are required.
• Perform job duties in an ethical and professional manner.
• Must wear a special paint suit and respirator.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of the 5S system.

Responsibilities

• Perform color changes on the powder booth.
• Identify and adequately paint hard-to-reach areas on products.
• Work as part of a team at a very high pace in an industrial environment.
• Identify defects in material.
• Maintain adequate material availability for the paint line process.
• Maintain work area in accordance with the 5S system.
• Report any abnormalities to the paint line supervisor.
