About The Position

The painter is responsible for painting, plastering, and wallpapering public areas to ensure a clean, safe, and presentable facility for guests and team members. The role requires effective communication and coordination with teammates, managers, and guests, with an emphasis on contributing to a positive guest experience.

Requirements

• Current, legal, and unrestricted ability to work in the United States
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a commercial painter
• Ability to communicate in English clearly and pleasantly with guests, management/co-workers, both in person and on the telephone
• Must have ability to communicate effectively and courteously with employees, guests and contractors in writing, via telephone and in person

Responsibilities

• Maintains (paint, wallpaper, plaster, etc.) all public areas and guest rooms on an on-going basis
• Keep the hotel décor in good condition
• Clean all work areas after completing job
• Must be a self-motivated individual, that works independently with minimal supervision and consistently demonstrates ownership and accountability in a proactive approach for completing tasks.
• Inspect and maintain areas for which are responsible
• Review and comprehend all necessary documentation
• Effectively and efficiently move around work areas
