This position is primarily responsible for painting exterior and interior walls of Ingleside. Additional duties include repairs to the walls. The Painter will conduct rounds to inspect the condition of walls, door frames, paint etc. at the beginning of each shift. They will obtain work orders from the Director of Property Management or Maintenance Supervisor, complete, sign off, and return them in a timely manner. The role involves performing minor dry wall repairs as needed prior to painting, and installing and/or removing cover base and wallpaper within the community. The Painter will paint walls within the community to the standard set by the Director of Property Management or Maintenance Supervisor, and record all work performed in logbooks, maintaining them to ensure all information recorded is accurate and up to date. They will also move furniture during refurbishments and ensure all furniture is placed back in an appropriate place, and ensure all walls, ceilings, door frames, etc. are free from water damage or any other hazards. Additionally, the Painter may be required to remove snow in the winter as needed.
