About The Position
We are seeking a skilled, reliable painter to join our growing company. You must have proven commercial and residential painting experience. To succeed in this role, you need to be dependable, demonstrate a strong work ethic, and possess meticulous attention to detail. (Multi-family, New Construction, and Commercial Projects) Most of the projects that are performed by NHI Commercial are directly related to multi-family housing. This means that in many cases, projects are performed within occupied units and communities, and it is the expectation of NHI Commercial that all employees act with a high level of professionalism.
Requirements
- Proven commercial and residential painting experience
- Dependable
- Strong work ethic
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to physically stand, bend, squat and lift 50+ lbs.
- Positive attitude and work ethic
- Able to work independently or as an active member of the team
- Must be 18 years of age
- Must be comfortable climbing ladders and working at elevated levels
Responsibilities
- Prepping surfaces prior to layering paint - cleaning, trimming, taping
- Inspect and repair damaged surfaces - fill and patch holes, cracks and imperfections
- Cleaning and clearing of debris
- Protecting surfaces - taping, drip cloths
- Use of rollers, brushes and sprayers
- Other duties as assigned
