About The Position

This is a temp-to-full-time Painter/Generalist position. The role requires the ability to prep and sand aluminum material for paint, identify and repair flaws such as scratches and dents, and paint consistently to maintain a 3 mil or less paint thickness specification. The position also involves maintaining a clean workspace and equipment, with a willingness to move to other work cells. The job requires the use of hand tools and a computer for process management. Physical requirements include the ability to lift 50lbs and stand for long periods, being on your feet the majority of the day. The work environment is a climate-controlled shop. The schedule is Monday-Thursday with 10-hour shifts from 6 AM to 4:30 PM, with potential overtime on Fridays. Punctuality, readiness to work, and a strong focus on safety are essential.

Responsibilities

• Prep and sand aluminum material for paint.
• Identify and repair flaws in material before painting (scratches, dents, etc.).
• Paint consistently to maintain 3 mil or less paint thickness specification.
• Maintain a clean workspace and equipment.
• Willingness to move to other work cells.
• Use hand tools (screwdriver, wrenches, measuring tape, hammer, Orbital Sander).
• Use a computer as processes are managed on the computer.
• Show up on time and be ready to work.
• Work safely and pay attention to safety in surroundings.
