About The Position

Keep our communities fed. As a Painter you will prepare and apply paint and finishes to all types of exterior and interior surfaces in accordance with applicable techniques and procedures. Works in compliance with governmental regulations and safety requirements.

Requirements

Knowledge and correct use of protective clothing and any ventilation requirements
Attention to detail and great accuracy required
Must be able to work independently with little supervision
Must be able to sit, stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, carry, reach, push, pull and work at heights.

Responsibilities

Prepare all types of interior surfaces for painting and finish coats.
Selects pre‑mixed paints and matches specified colors and finishes.
Paints and finishes all interior surfaces with paint sprayer, rollers and brushes.
Recommends painting techniques and applications, as well as tapes drywall, prepares surfaces with patching compounds and textures.
Utilizes correct procedures and techniques in the repair and finish of surfaces.
Responsible for proper storage of materials included in a hazardous waste program.
Uses and stores toxic and flammable materials in accordance with safety regulations and precautionary requirements and to ensure that no employees are exposed to unsafe conditions or dangers.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned
