About The Position

Completes the painting scope of work in accordance with production standards established by the Painting Contractors of America (PCA) and the Fresh Coat painting company. This role involves maintaining company standards, working collaboratively with team members, and ensuring customer satisfaction through professional conduct and high-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

Maintain company standards while working as a team player and supporter of fellow painters and the operations manager.
Arrive at the job site on time and report to the operations manager for work-specific goals and instructions.
Respect customer boundaries and space.
Assist in setting up a neat and organized area for equipment, tools, and products.
Know and meet or exceed daily production goals.
Pre-plan for the next day.
Use protective materials like plastic, drop cloths, and tape to shield surfaces not being painted.
Ensure expert preparation by sanding, scraping, and priming as appropriate for proper adhesion.
Apply coatings to completely cover painted surfaces, providing a smooth, opaque surface of uniform finish, color, appearance, and coverage.
Avoid surface imperfections such as cloudiness, spotting, holidays, laps, brush marks, runs, sags, or ropiness.
Organize the worksite to minimally disturb the client's home.
Listen to and address any client concerns promptly and thoroughly.
Remove empty cans, rags, rubbish, and other discarded paint materials from the site at the end of each workday.
Clean glass and paint-spattered surfaces upon job completion, removing spattered paint by washing and scraping without damaging adjacent finished surfaces.
Maintain a professional appearance: hair combed, clean & neat, and wearing clean painter whites with no more than 10 percent of fabric covered in paint.
Be on time for all jobs.
Continue to learn and grow as a painter through the Branded Painter Advancement System Program.
Establish and maintain good will with clients and prospective clients.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested by Fresh Coat leaders.
