About The Position

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Painters for projects located in or around the Greater Los Angeles and Orange Country, CA area. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $35-$40/hour based on experience and skill level. Requirements

Must have personal hand tools including roller frames, covers, paint brushes (2½", 3", and 4"), putty knives, caulking gun, scrapers, sanding tools, utility knife, buckets, etc. (materials supplied by contractor)
Must wear work-boots and Painters Whites are preferred
5+ years of commercial painting experience preferred
Experience with wall coverings, decorative finishes, and restoration work
Ability to work independently and from project specifications
Reliable transportation to various job sites throughout LA and Orange County
Must provide personal hand tools (materials supplied by contractor)
Ability to work overtime and occasional 7-day schedules when project demands require

Responsibilities

Apply primers, sealers, and specialty coatings to wood, metal, drywall, and concrete surfaces
Perform surface preparation including scraping, sanding, wire brushing, and cleaning
Repair drywall damage, patch holes, caulk joints, and apply waterproofing materials
Install and repair wall coverings, decorative finishes, and specialty coatings
Paint and finish commercial interiors and exteriors
Work on active commercial projects including banks, restaurants, office buildings, and retail facilities
Maintain quality workmanship while meeting project schedules
