About The Position

Sanborn Manufacturing, a subsidiary of MAT Industries and a leading manufacturer of ASME pressure vessels, is seeking a full-time Painter for their first shift operations. This role is crucial in ensuring the quality of air compressor parts by applying paint finishes. The position involves working four 10-hour days with opportunities for advancement and a competitive hourly wage plus a sign-on bonus.

Requirements

• High school graduate/GED
• High attention to detail
• Must be safety conscious, quality minded, have good work habits and attendance.
• Knowledge of paint tools and process

Nice To Haves

• Experience with repetitive lifting of materials and product up to 50 lbs.
• Experience working with a sense of urgency.
• Willingness to work as a team.

Responsibilities

• Paint various parts of the air compressor to produce a quality product.
• Achieve quality paint finishes on parts at a reasonable pace.
• Send, hang, and prep parts for painting at a reasonable steady pace.
• Operate air tools, hoists, and hand tools.
• Work with a sense of urgency and as part of a team.
• Be willing to work overtime and be flexible in the department, working where needed.
