About The Position

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University is seeking a skilled Painter to support Facilities Management at the Prescott Campus. This position plays an important role in maintaining the appearance, condition, and overall presentation of campus buildings and facilities. The Painter will perform painting, surface preparation, repairs, and related maintenance activities across residential spaces, offices, common areas, and recreational facilities.

Requirements

• High school-level ability in grammar, spelling, basic composition, and mathematics.
• One to three years of related work experience.
• Experience in painting, mechanical, or maintenance work.
• Proven experience as a painter, preferably in a residential or campus setting.
• Knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and tools.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Effective time management and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and practices.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, climbing ladders, and working in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform painting, surface preparation, and repairs.
• Maintain the appearance, condition, and overall presentation of campus buildings and facilities.
• Conduct painting activities across residential spaces, offices, common areas, and recreational facilities.
